About the photos:
Most photos posted here are taken with either a Nikon D50 or my iPhone. I also frequently use my Olympus XA and my Lomo LC-A. Other occasional photos may come from my Konica Minolta DiMage X50 digital point-and-shoot, or my old Minolta X-370s (with 28mm wide-angle lens, 50mm standard lens, 80-200mm zoom, 2x teleconverter, and macro filters). The Minolta 35mm doesn't get much use these days, though, now that I have my Nikon DSLR to play with, and my iPhone on me constantly.
I actually own several film cameras, and should really feature them in their own section of the website one of these days.
About the author:
First, the public domain stuff: Google
me and you'll find that I once produced and hosted the Low
Carb Lifestyle Podcast; that I secured a new job in November 2007; that I
make and sell soy candles; that I am a practitioner of Zen Buddhism; that I enjoy reading books in the universe of
Isaac Asimov; that I fancy myself a freelance web designer; that I am
a family history and genealogy buff; that I am a (former) Macintosh enthusiast, a
drumcorps veteran, an anime fan dabbler, and a beginning
benignly neglectful gardener; and that I have several websites in various states of neglect.
To fill in the gaps: My husband Aaron and I live in Toledo, Ohio with one cat, no children, and a mortgage.
In my spare time I photograph, I tweak my various websites, I read science fiction, and I try not to kill my plants. (The indoor ones do a better job of surviving my neglect than do the outdoor ones.)
