aftereffects:
jazz greats

This piece was the final outcome of the first After Effects workshop I attended in January 1999. It utilizes masking, alpha channels, mapping, and several of the basic features of After Effects. Note that the blue patterns in the titles are actually moving video, and that the stills move between the staves of music. This version was also compressed using Media Cleaner Pro to optimize internet play.

aftereffects:
photoshop layers

This was a piece completed during a demonstration of how Adobe Photoshop layers may be imported as a composition into After Effects. It effectively shows the six Photoshop layers being moved and altered over time using both basic After Effects features and imported Photoshop plug-ins.

video: burgerking

This 30-second piece was half of a 60-second assignment to remake an existing commercial. Over 50% of the footage in the new commercial was to be shot by us, the students. We replaced product shots, graphics and titles, and the sound track. My role in the group of five was that of Media 100 post-production editor.
